British high-end luxury fashion house Jimmy Choo and American outdoor brand Timberland have teamed up for a collaborative capsule collection.
Titled ‘Jimmy Choo x Timberland’ the collection is the second collaboration between both brands’ following the success of the first collaboration in 2020. Merging the two brands’ differing aesthetics it encompasses seven pieces across men’s and women’s styles. There are hot pink velvet boots with transparent soles, two classic nubuck boots with a graffiti-inspired Jimmy Choo logo script, a black boot with a Swarovski crystal embellished cuff and a thigh-high black leather harness boot with a dual styling function. The highlight of the collection is a limited edition of the heeled version of the iconic Timberland 6-inch boot entirely covered in Swarovski crystals, exclusively available at Jimmy Choo.
The collection was inspired by New York and both brands worked together with designer, artist and New York-native Shanel Campbell and New York-based agency Harlem’s Fashion Row that provides opportunities for emerging Black and Latinx creatives. The accompanying campaign for the collection features musician and actress Justine Skye and rapper and producer Pie’rre Bourne who model the reinvited icons on a New York rooftop.
Prices range between 595 pounds for the 8-inch puffer boot to 4,500 pounds for the limited edition 6-inch Swarovski crystal-embellished stiletto boot.
The ‘Jimmy Choo x Timberland’ capsule is available to shop at Jimmy Choo and Timberland retail locations as well as their stockists, including luxury retailers Selfridges, Mytheresa and Farfetch.
