Luka Doncic Jordan Luka 2 First Look

Luka Dončić’s first signature silhouette with Jordan Brand was effectively a hit, packaging a number of compelling colorways and the debut of Formula 23 Foam within a sleek, streamlined design. While the four-time All-Star and the Dallas Mavericks fight over the final remaining games in the regular season to solidify their Play-In seeding, Dončić is anticipating a lengthy postseason having debuted a first look at the Jordan Luka 2 tonight against the Kings.

Pictured as he was suiting up in the silhouette for the first time in public, the aforementioned imagery showcases the continuation of his signature lines’ low-top association. Anchoring its base in a synthetic fabric – which mirrors the same topographical lining of the Jordan Luka 1 – a singular nubuck overlay stretches atop the mudguard and transitions across the mid-foot into the heel counter. While official technical details haven’t been revealed just yet, the sole unit looks to return an IsoPlate system whereas the midsole looks to bring Zoom Air cushioning to Luka’s signature series accompanied by a split-toe tread.

As for the debut colorway, the silhouette looks to a gloomy midnight backdrop with jet-black hues consuming a dominant majority of the nubuck and nylon constructed upper. The pair does look to a royal infusion of vibrant purples however, dressing the sock liner, accented embroidery and opposing sides of the tongue surrounding the golden metallic Dončić insignia. Below, a semi-translucent outsole combines with luminous hits of mint filling the speckled mid-foot shank and miniaturized Jumpman at the heel.

With the NBA Playoffs just a few weeks away, a number of colorways are sure to be featured. While we await further release details, in the meantime enjoy a first look at the Jordan Luka 2 below.

For more from the Jumpman family, Jayson Tatum’s Jordan Tatum 1 officially releases this Friday in the “Zoo” colorway.
