Engaging in a multitude of cultural impressions throughout the low-top construction, a neutral-based palette embarks across the tumbled and cracked leather panels of the upper made to resemble the festival’s synonymous roasted soybeans. Casting an assortment of earth-based hues, the mid-foot and vamp come filled with a vibrant cream while the collar, mudguard and nylon tongue construction come dipped in a decadent dark chocolate scheme. Accompanied by a classic gum tread and Off-White midsole underfoot, a number of characters from Japanese folklore proclaim the honorary ensemble, like the appearance of Tsuno Daishi embroidered at the heel counter or Kintarō outfitting the insoles in a colorful collection of imagery from the Edo Period.
