While the skeletonized movement is obviously a key design element of the new watch, it could be argued that the colorful bezel is actually the highlight. The “rainbow” trend in watches has touched everything from the Rolex Daytonas to G-SHOCKs, and now we get Zodiac’s entry, via a Super Chroma K1 crystal bezel, incorporating a variety of blues, reds, greens, and yellows into a single bezel that is more than appropriate for some light pizza timing. It’s accented by a bright yellow minute hand and corresponding triangular pip at 12:00, providing an intuitive visual cue for timing by sight. 

Although the aesthetic of this watch is certainly on the playful end of the spectrum, it’s still a capable and purpose built diver. Like other watches in the Sea Wolf collection, this one is water resistant to 200 meters, and fitted with a sapphire crystal and screw down crown. It’s mounted to a five-link, jubilee-style bracelet, and the case measures 40mm in diameter and 13.6mm tall. 

The retail price of the new Super Sea Wolf Compression Skeleton is $1,895. Zodiac
